Inspect the protocol, hostname, path and query parameters. Cleaning only removes utm_*, gclid, dclid, fbclid, msclkid, yclid, _openstat, mc_cid and mc_eid. Other parameters and the fragment are preserved. Modifying signed URLs may invalidate them.
